GESU Catholic School Students Raise $3,200 for Edwins

July 13, 2018

The students at Gesu Catholic School in University Heights, OH, raised $3,200 for EDWINS Leadership and Restaurant Institute as part of the OC Federal Credit Union Challenge Grant Program. Students made and served Lenten soup lunches for their fundraising.

OC Federal provided a $500 grant to the students and they were encouraged to use their gifts to double that gift for a recipient of their choice. Students presented a check to EDWINS and explained how they were able to fund raise! EDWINS Leadership and Restaurant Institute said, “We were truly grateful to receive such a generous gift! Gesu Catholic School and OC Federal Credit Union are great examples how passion and compassion make a tremendous difference!” Thank you to all the students who use God’s gifts for this great cause!
